Default Receive links via XMPP (PubSub)

I was wondering if there's interest in adding a plugin to jD that allows it to receive Links via XMPP (PubSub in particular).

Short introduction:
Quote:
XEP-0060, Publish-Subscribe: This specification defines an XMPP protocol extension for generic publish-subscribe functionality. The protocol enables XMPP entities to create nodes (topics) at a pubsub service and publish information at those nodes; an event notification (with or without payload) is then broadcasted to all entities that have subscribed to the node. Pubsub therefore adheres to the classic Observer design pattern and can serve as the foundation for a wide variety of applications, including news feeds, content syndication, rich presence, geolocation, workflow systems, network management systems, and any other application that requires event notifications.
XMPP PubSub allows to publish (create) and subscribe nodes. Content sent to a node is forwarded to all subscribers. It offers fine-grained control over who is allowed to publish/receive information. Even to hide nodes.

we dont have time for this, but anyone is welcome to code such an addon. but as far as i understood the feature, it means that the server can see all connected nodes that are listening for events....hmmm...i dont want anyone to see what im waiting for

That depends. Filtering could happen in jD. But generally you are right, if one had one node per <whatever>, the node owner would know who subscribed to it. The "who" in that case would be your JID, e.g. "mynickname@example.org". So all they could really see is the IP of the XMPP service you're using. The JID doesn't need to be the one you use for other stuff.

Would be sweet if someone picks up the idea and creates a plugin out of it.
