Split files in a package into multiples subfolders
Hi. Is it possible split the files in a package into a series of subfolders based on a determined amount of them? For example, grab an Instagram account with many files and split them every 200 files into a separate folder, but only the pictures. And create another subfolder for the videos. Is it possible?
Example: Package name: insta_example Total files 430 (425 picures + 5 videos) Destination folder: <jd:packagename>\01 (100 JPG) <jd:packagename>\02 (100 JPG) <jd:packagename>\03 (100 JPG) <jd:packagename>\04 (100 JPG) <jd:packagename>\05 (25 JPG) <jd:packagename>\videos (5 mp4) |

Not possible via packagizer. Any reason why you want the split?

Just because I transfer those files into my phone and it's easy to manage them that way.
Thanks Jiaz. |

I'm sorry but I dont see any easy way to do this out of the box. You could ask mgpai (in english) for help with eventscripter to write little script that auto splits the packages for you.

Create packagizer rules to move images and videos to different packages and create base folders (e.g. <jd:packagename>\videos or <jd:packagename>\images). Use script to split the resulting package(s) and create sub-folder based on package length.

Awesome! Thanks a lot mgpai.
I had never used the packagizer before, but after a After that, the script works perfect every time I've tried it. I'm not a programmer in any way but I like to try to understand how the things work. Broadly I understand how it works. What I did not understood was how it's added the "0's" which completes the folder name according to the number of them to create. (none up to 9, "01" instead of "1" up to 99, "001" instead of "01" or "1" up to 999,...). I researched until I understood what the pad(num) function does. Now I have some questions about packagizer. Do I have to open another post to make them? I think it could have individual value.
