@padieater: what browser is this? please make sure that no other browser extension blocks/messes with MyJDownloader extension and that javascript/google are allowed. There have been no changes to our browser extension at all. Also check firewall/av.

JDownloader has nothing to do with the browser extension, no influence on it

@padieater: I'm unable to reproduce any issues. I can offer teamviewer so we can take a look at this together? send us ID and PW of teamviewer to support@jdownloader.org

@hpgo: I can see adblock extension and brave browser showing a notice icon.
This issue is not caused by the MyJDownloader extension but by some browser setting/blocking or other extensions causing the issue. As I already explained, there has been no changes/updates at all to the browser extension

what baffles me is, that the whole thing worked without me touching any settings before
and after your post i revisit the browser settings and disable the brave shield and brave misc tracker stuff still the same "browser extension needed" page.
also tried on opera, same problem
brave and opera are kinda my burner browser just for things like this and have no other ext. kinda dont want to give up ad blocker on my main browser, chrome

OHHH BOY IT WORKED AFTER I TURN OFF CLOUDFLARE DNS WARP
wth, i already used CF DNS windows program from weeks ago and never had any problem with this.
(my country's censorship is kinda tiring so kinda have to use it.)
anyway sorry for taking your time and thanks for the answers

Thanks for the feedback and sharing your findings. Most likely you have to add exclusion for JDownloader, see developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/connections/connect-devices/warp/exclude-traffic/
try "Local Domain Fallback" and exclude jdownloader.org and mydns.jdownloader.org

Nothing to be sorry for. I've just learned about Cloudflare WARP and we could find the cause and I'm sure you will be able to configure it in a way that you can continue to use both WARP and browser extension
