Default Hello All!!! And a VERY strange problem

Hello guys, my first post.
If there is a presentation area, I skipped it because of panic, I apologize

After years of perfect service JD is killing me during the last 2 days

It doesn't download...It starts like a bullet, but soon speed drops down (I am used to 2MB per second circa) and reaches zero kb/s

this happens with both my ISP's (I have a 8Mbit line and a 20Mbit line at home)

Any ideas or solution? Hard to live without JD and DDL in general

A big Thank you!

Update after some testing:

NO it is none of my connections.
Grabbing 4/10/20 files from the same place and using browser+downthemall manager gives me the usual speed

Using mipony gives the same result: full speed, saturated bandwidth, excellend performance.
The thing only involves JD, both versions, 1 and 2

Maybe I will test some other managers like Orbit or IDM, just curious. I miss JD, the best one in my opinion.

:confused::confused::blink::outch:

my line of philosophy

but if:

no DSL problems
no pc problems
no other DL manager problems

what else???

I will stick with MiPony for some time, works like a rocket at full band, but I need to fix this problem as soon as I'm back from vacations

Java auto updates and so does your security products. Java could install to a new path making old exemptions in security software invalid, or security products introduce new features, which then need to be configured.

I'm not too sure other than to recommend you check again, even google say 'securitysoftwarenamehere site:board.jdownloader.org' and see what results you get.

Problems in Browser -> 100% issue with firewall/av. Please setup them correct to exclude java.exe and javaw.exe

Bah, didn't do ANY-THING, just went on vacation with a "F***Y**" attitude about my pc, and everything got fixed by my return. Now it's running ok again, both JD1 and JD2, about 2/2.2 megabytes per second, so my ultimate suggestion is when you have problems don't worry, just go on vacation and things wil get better
