Angry JD2 NEEDS rtmpe support!

It would make it possible for us to download from certain sites, such as MySpace and nowtv.de. There must be a way to legally add support for that protocol. People have been wanting it for at least 10 years now, as I found out through searching this site. There was even an "in progress" thread back in 2009 (https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=10867 ), but it still hasn't been implemented yet. Please add support for it!

When are you ever going to add support for it?! If you don't, I'll stop using your program and move to something else! There's no reason why you can't just ask for permission to use it. Seriously, a considerable percentage of the files that people download off of file-sharing sites are usually warez, or something else illegal, so I don't see any reason why you couldn't just implement it. What's it going to take to get you to implement rtmpe?

The type of content individuals consume (legal or not) is not in question here. But what history as told us is, JDownloader and the company behind JDownloader 'Appwork' must comply with local laws (in Germany). This prevents rtmpe support within JDownloader, so can't be supported. Feel free to find another piece of software to facilitate your requirements, just we can not assist with that.
