habe noch mal rum probiert und es ist ganz klar die 720er mp4 variante mit 360 oder 480 funktioniert es auch einwandfrei nur bei 720p mp4 geht´s in den keller!!

Yep, It's been a bit slower for me for a few days too.
720p are loaded (as set) with a maximum of 3 simultaneous connections, 1080p only with one connection. But it may well be that this has always been the case - I have never observed it more closely. What is noticeable however, is that some videos load much more slowly than others. And even if I increase the number of simultaneous downloads, the total speed is clearly capped - for example, even with 20 simultaneous downloads, I no longer get over 4 MB/s. no longer downloading from YouTube
Dear Persons,
I had already complained that JDownloader2 was no longer able to download from YouTube. After I reinstalled it, it seemed to work. But now it again does not “see” the videos. Please explain me what to do, considered that I am completely ignorant about computers and software. I have two hard disks with two different Mac OS, 10.8.5 and 10.11.6 Now I disinstalled it again and reinstalled it again. Nothing to do. Please help me. Thank you. Best Regards Fabio Feminò Italy

In den letzten Tagen gab es einige Updates für JD, seitdem merke ich, daß der Downloadspeed bei youtube-Videos total zurückgegangen war - genau, wie ich es vor einiger Zeit bereits hier im Thread vermerkt hatte.
Danach habt ihr dieses Problem mit Patches gefixt, aber jetzt ist der Speed wieder bei 450 kb/s - egal, welches Video ich über youtube laden will. Seit euren Tipps beim Download von Videos vei vk.com und youtube folgende Einstellungen zu nutzen... Max. gleichzeitige Downloads: 1 Max. Verbindungen pro Download: 10 ...nützt das im aktuellen Fall leider nichts. Ist euch das Problem bekannt - könnt ihr es beheben? Danke schon mal!!!

Looks good now, thank you for addressing this as soon as you did. It did take finishing the already downloading video for it to fix itself so if anyone doesn't see the speeds return finish the currently downloading video and you should be good after that.
Edit: Do you know why I can't properly download this video? **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** It shows as "Unknown" file size in Jdownloader2 and when it finishes it's only 720kbs~ instead of the full video. It was a stream but it finished over 6 hours ago and surely should be finished processing by now. Last edited by TheRenegadist; 24.11.2022 at 10:07.

@TheRenegadist: that was a live stream ( you can see at information below the video) currently live streamed videos are not supported and you will have to wait till processing has finished.

@TheRenegadist: Thanks for the feedback. I guess its not a question of *how long the video/stream was* but *at what position the video has been added to the queue.
@waxweazle2001: You have to set to video only. Playlist handling is currently unstable/broken and therefore the workaround to find/select/add videos at once and as the urls may include playlist information, the named setting will tell JDownloader to ignore the playlist and just parse the video.

@Dolcevita: You either have to install rosetta so the intel version of the ffmpeg binary works or you will have to find a working native ffmpeg version by yourself, see
https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...roubleshooting I have not yet found a precompiled working ffmpeg AND ffprobe binary for m1 so your best chances are with manual installation of both via brew or other ways Update: Just took a look at your log and found this strange OS error Quote:
When you google for "mac Inappropriate ioctl for device" you will find other reports with different tools. Maybe something with external hardware and/or try to check/scan filesystem for errors
