Default Nightly build startup question

I installed the Nightly build recently through the jdupdate.jar shortcut in the small target line and it worked out great. Now, I can't use that shortcut as a startup because when I put it in the startup folder that big jdupdate box opens for a bit before the program retires to the tray, so I have to figure out a different shortcut to use in startup. I tried and am now for the time being that is using a shortcut I made from the jdownloader.jar file that was in the folder. I didn't install this, I am using it like a portable. Now back to the startup file jdownloader.jar shortcut. I sent it to the startup folder and it works, albeit a little slow, but it does start. Is there a faster or other way to go with this without any big boxes or stuff showing itself on the desktop? There has to be some regular skilled users that have different ideas on running this software, right. I hope there is someone who can give me some insight on how to get a different workable startup option that might make things load a little faster.

The splash screen you can turn off in the settings->user interface.
Otherwise:
afaik everything in nightly is working in JD2 Beta also so i would try JD2 Beta.

I think what you're saying is make JD2 Beta the shortcut? I always turn the splash screen off no matter what build I use. It does nothing but take time & space. I'll try the Beta shortcut if that's what you mean?

That is fine my friend if I want to install it, but I already have it running. The only thing I wanted to know was about what most people that use the "Nightly Build" use for a startup shortcut. I run this like a portable w/o install files. It was the way I was told through the forum. Right now I am using the JD2 Beta.exe as a shortcut and it works. It is just a little slow, but then so is the jdownloader.jar shortcut. I was just fishing to see what some of the Nightly users used as a shortcut for starting their program. Thanks.

@julio99
For any release, I always use shortcut to JDownloader.exe.
