All things you tell you make me believe that you want to loose a lot of more people that already loose of stoping support jd1 and begin develop the jd2 with a LOT OF lower feature than jd1 has.
That is not right.
JD2 has more than JD1. For me too much. The most of the Feature can be activated in the Profesional Setings.

Can you show me a picture how i can see the estimaze time left to finish ALL THE DOWNLOAD LINK i have at download list?
Like the jd1 has?
I think is not possible yet. But then it is now Possible, lokk in the Profesional Setings.
And only for information, JD2 is Beta.

*sigh*

As your first question mentioned 'properties', I indicated that it wasn't in JD2.
Follow up questions have mentioned statics, in which I have told you how it works and where to find it. So I believe your question has already been answered correctly.

Sorry I don't understand beginning of your last post. Please rephrase.

And to the latter, We hardly ever ban (excluding advertisement|virus/trojan spreading accounts), we only do so as a last resort. You've been ask so many times to change behaviour, I've lost count.

I haven't seen you identify a unknown issue/problem in a very long time. Feel free to ask questions and even follow up questions. Please do not ask the same type of question over and over in order to get your own way. No matter how many times you ask/rephrase, our response will be along the same line.

What do you mean with "reconnect time of any host"?
You can addjust the time how long JD waits for a new IP in Options -> Reconnect.

I'll also add, that if you have reconnect disabled (maybe due to static IP), the timer is set via plugin setting and can not be over ridden.

So after all the links it downloaded successfully the progress bar start from the beginning to show us to what percent is the unrar procedure.

Thumbs down Bring back the guillotine

Unbelievable.
I can't believe you wouldn't have the foresight to call this package "JDownloader 2," "JDownloader Beta" or something to differentiate it from the current JDownloader.

The reason I say this is because I have (HAD) a perfectly fine working version of JDownloader Nightly for years residing in my MAC Applications folder. I wanted to try JD2 to support a new premium hoster.

On Setup, I found that JDownloader 2 wants to Install to the same folder (Applications) by default. That's fine by me...I sometimes keep multiple versions of the same application in my Applications folder for testing and other purposes.

But even though I selected "NO TO ALL" when it asked to overwrite files, JDOWNLOADER 2 SETUP STILL OVERWROTE MY EXISTING FILES AND NOW MY PREVIOUS JDOWNLOADER IS USELESS.

It crashes on launch, and now it appears there is no way to get back all of my links. I'm really effin' p-o'd.

Tell me: who is the genius responsible for such a MINIMALLY CONSIDERED, SHORT SIGHTED, BAFFLINGLY IDIOTIC Installation routine?

The problem is sitting in the front of the Monitor.
Create a JD2 instalation in a new Folder.
For your Links, look in the Application, for the Folder config, not cfg.
reinstall the Nightly, copy the Folder in the new Nightly Folder.

and your point is?

my point:
a) wrong section of the forum, make a new thread about this, and follow the hoster section rules.
b) no logs of issue in question?
c) how to reproduce?

Hello,
I remember that with the previous version of JD downloading from NowVideo was faster because of a speed of 600kb/s, now the speed is about 100kb/s.

Why?

Question Synthetica Theme on jD2

Well, I'm really loving jD2; so much, that I've totally abandoned the old version.

This one is faster, uses less resources, works better with plugins, updates much quicker and more often, etc, etc...

Maybe I am way too early to be asking about this, but I'm really curious and it's probably the ONE thing I most miss about jD1:

- Is (or when) support for Synthetica themes coming to jD2?

(It doesn't have to be Synthetica, any dark theme at all would sufice for me)

Check your AV/FW, speed issues are not caused by JD2.

Proponents of open source software JDownloader praised to the skies for its functions and it is freeware.
Opponents complain that the application interface is poorly designed, causing complications when working in the program. It seems that the developers heard these complaints. I know that some people like and still use the old version, the new is just a matter of getting used intuitively.

We're sorry but Synthetica themes won't return. They will return as professional settings. They have a lot of bugs (which you don't notice at first glance as they're not visual) and haven't been created by the JD developers but by Java. Thus, we can not support them anymore.

The existance of tickets don't mean that they will be done

Answer of jiaz (developer):
Quote:
-speed difference does not come from jd
-fits79: how about logfiles from jd2?
-user0: links are not lost, but need to be imported manually at the moment
GreeZ pspzockerscene
EDIT

Answer from jiaz (developer):
Quote:
Themes will come back optional for advanced settings. but can contains
graphical issues as we will not officially support all of them

EDIT by Think3r: Alright, that's new to me. Sorry for the confusion.

Another issues.

01. After a standby NOT power off at 3 pc's the jd2 beta premium accounts must refreshed by menu of the options-> premium accounts to re-enabled again.

02. Why every file i add at download list DOESN'T it get it alone and it's add it as a group with other no same files links?

after/before standby when network is down->accountcheck fails -> temp

You wanted example links that jd2 was added at the same package even it is completely different.

Ok here some links:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

and here it is the picture

it has the same host but the files are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT so normally it must added to DIFFERENT PACKAGE and NOT THA SAME correct?

do you want more?

@fits
I can't reproduce using clipboard, at an educated guess I'd say you added those links via the add links dialog?, or package customiser rules could also influence this behaviour.

From jiaz:
Quote:
@fits: how did you add those links? clipboard or manually? because
manually it will use the packagename set in adddialog. clipboard = check
your packagizer rules
OR
package = various package = a single link goes into various package
(default on). avoid hundret of packages with a single link in each
(check advanced settings to disable it)

If you haven't the files: downloadList###.zip and/or linkcollector###.zip, there is nothing to do, sorry to say that.

One of the moderators told me that JD2 needs only Java7+.

But Java7 is only compatible with 10.7+ (Lion).

So that's why Snow Leopard and JD2 are not compatible.

@fits

'Does the new jd2 is heavier than jd1 was?' should be 'Is JD2 heavier on system resorces than previous versions of JD'.

And the answer is, no it's lighter. Major components have been rewritten for performance in mind and to reduce system resource requirement. For example you physically see JD2 loading times are tens of seconds or minutes faster (highly dependant on your computer speed) than previous versions.

If you are adding via clipboard, it would mean it could be either package customer rules, or various setting in advanced.
