Default Downloading from freakshare

Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked before, but I have an inquiry about downloading from freakshare.com. Basically, when I paste the links into JDownloader, they're registered as "online", but when I go and download and enter the captcha, I always get a "Unknown server error".

I am aware that the owners of this site were involved in a police investigation a few years ago and that downloading via browser has been widely known to not work anymore, but shouldn't the fact that the links still registered as active by the Jdownloader means that they should be downloadable through it? Why wouldn't these links be registered as offline if they're not available to the public? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks!

Did you try to download those files in browser? As far as I know this host no longer works.
JDownloader can only show them as offline if there are any signs for it. What I've seen, all looks good until download should start.

Oh, okay, thanks for the clarification. I guess freakshare really is dead then.
