Need to export Temp files to protect SSD HD
Hi All
I Have now an SSD Hard disk with the system on it, and I exported all the temp files to another HD to protect the SSD HD from too many writings ( as the number of writings are limited on an SSD HD). I noticed that in the original Temp folder there a section devoted to JD. Do I need to export it too ? ie Where are the temp files created by JD stocked ? |

very few files will be downloaded / kept in temp, so I would say no. plugin cache is kept there, along with some temp update files.
by the way traditional spinning drives do not have infinite read write either.

Thanks for the reply
I changed the environment variables location to the 2nd HD anyway & JD still works well. So I'm happy with that |

It makes no sense installing JD2 on SSD - because there is no, but that any difference in the speed of JD2.
