Bad Download Management
Hi there,
please see attached screenshot. **External links are only visible to Support Staff** I have identical files from multiple hosters (in this case 2). After a connection drop or other error, instead of moving on to a different file that hasn't been (partly) downloaded yet, jDownloader proceeds to download the same file again from a different hoster, ignoring the other hosters download progress. I find this not very logical as it ignores download progress instead of doing something useful by starting a file that hasn't been downloaded yet to then later return and go on with the files that have progress. This makes the second entry in the screenshot even more absurd as it is "skipped because file already exists". I hope you understand what I mean, I guess the screenshot explains it, too. Greetings and have a nice weekend Last edited by Bugpolice; 13.05.2022 at 23:54. |

@Bugpolice: Currently the resume information is stored within the download entry itself and not available/shared to other mirrors. This will be part of next download core as the information is no longer stored in the download entry but in a way that other mirrors can access them as well. Unfortunately this is still "work in progress"
Most work is already done and tested, maybe I will add an *opt in* advanced setting to test this new download core before it will replace old one. to collect special cases and fix reported bugs that I did not encounter during my testings.
