Default internet suddenly gone during download

Hello,
To whom it may concern,

I had a very weird situation recently today.
I was downloading a few files with JDownloader2 and a nitroflare account.
Suddenly, in the middle of downloading all downloads stopped.
Opening a cmd window and pinging, I found out I could not ping anyone on the internet (tried: 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, 9.9.9.9, www.google.com).
I rebooted the router, I rebooted the computer, I resumed my downloads.
Suddenly, everything worked again now.
Whilst resuming my downloads, the same situation happened after approx. 5-10 minutes again: Sudden internet loss!
Now I just rebooted the computer.
Resumed the JD2 downloads. They worked now.
It's mysterious. The only running window was JD2 and cmd.exe with ping.

Has anyone experienced the same recently? Is there a sort of large DDOS attack or somesuch going on? I'm confused.

Log indicates that DNS fails. What router are you using? Did you check webinterface of router for errors/messages? I sometimes experienced myself that high speed downloads and bad DSL connection lead to that many DSL errors that basically the internet connection got lost. can you still ping your router/other network devices? if not, then this looks like firewall/av/driver issue.
