This link (forum) isn't supported and JDownloader. When pasting the link manually then JDownloader will parse the html from that link and again doesn't find any supported link.

You've got to *teach* JDownloader to support those urls by creating/adding a linkcrawler rules so JDownloader knows how to handle this type of url
Please use board search and in case you've got questions or need help, just ask again

I'm familiar with the site the OP mentioned. I use MyJDownloader browser add-on. Then you can right-click the link, choose Download with JDownloader, and the link gets stored in the Linkgrabber where you can choose a directory or rename the file or just start the download.

@Cosmic Anosmic: I guess he wants to add the link from forum and not have to search for the links himself.

@Anonymusx: you might also wanna try to use Settings-Linkgrabber filter and setup a filter to ignore images/css and other unwanted files from that site.

I just re-read the OP's first post. Frankly, it sounds like a problem with the ebook post such as a dead link or a file without an extension (this happens when the user uploads files with an apostrophe in the file name). If so, it is *not* a JD problem.

Since the OP has not responded, they seem to have realized this on their own. :D
