Question Stop download queue on first dead link

Hello,

I have a list of file links, for example 1 to 500, but the last valid link will be unknown and less than 500, and I want to stop the download queue when it hits the first dead link / file not found error.

Is there a way to do this? I have turned off link validation in linkcollector because I don't want to hammer the server checking dead links, so link validation is not an option. I just want to stop the download queue when it hits the first dead link.

Thanks.

Edit: Disregard, I found another solution.

Hi,
this is not possible out of the box but you could realize this using an EventScripter script:

Hi, in the software I developed I found a way of detecting the first dead link so now I only pass valid links to JDL

Good to know it is possible with JDL as well.

Cheers!

Thanks for your feedback.
If you think that your software is useful for other users too, you might want to publish your code on github or similar.
