has nothing to do with title, server issues with requested audio codec and auto switch to different one fails.

@elvis_ef : Was the issue resolved for you or why didn't you inquire any further?

Can you describe the difference between the two links you posted? (Links are only visible for staff and yourself) That could be very helpful as long as the issue itself isn't taken care of! thanks |

Problems with youtube channels/playlists
I have tried to download whole YouTube channels but once the link grabber goes through the first 100 videos on the channel is just stops recognizing videos. This is the same for YT playlists. Is this something on YouTube's end or is there a setting I don't have right? What can I do?

note: (re-post) I accidentally posted this in the one not for JD2. |

I have a very strange problem with the Youtube plugin for at least roughly the last 2 months.
I put a link into my clipboard and JD always selects the 720p although a 1080p is available. If I choose the 1080p manually again from the dropdown, JD reverts back to the 720p version. I've tested several online converters, all grabbed the 720p also. Only this website correctly downloads the 1080p version: //youtube-mp4.download/en/the-online-converter (not allowed to post a link, but it may help) I have proved and double checked, the website really grabs the 1080p, but no one else does it nor does JD. How is that possible? And can it be solved that JD grabs the 1080p too, as it is obviously available and will be served by Youtube? To make it clear, this happens randomly on older videos. New videos will be downloaded as 1080p, but I can't tell when and why. Thanks! |

JDownloader seems to crawl only the first 100 videos in playlists that have more than 100 videos. Here's an example playlist:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** When I crawl the remaining videos one by one, it works. Last edited by eMuse; 09.11.2020 at 16:26. |

@eMuse/Doses13/JDmurphy
YT has deployed larger changes in playlist pagination and requires some larger changes to plugin. JD is currently only to process the "first page". Unsure when/if we can support this because they send lots of meta/browser data and also seem to fingerprinting those data

@davidr17:
Yt uses different streaming formats and also uses MPD which is not yet supported and thus those variants are not available yet Please provide example link

Some videos have official subtitles but also additionally automatically generated subtitles (Speech2Text, ASR) in the same language. Example video: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
Currently the crawler prefers automatically generated subtitles. But the official ones are better. How can I set it to prefer the official ones? Or better: How to just download ALL available subtitles? |

@SMS
Currently not possible. The current behavior can be considered as a bug. Ticket: -psp-

To complete this "workaround": If you want to additionally auto-filter the subtitles that now get added but you don't need, you can do it like THIS (yes I know, german instrctions --> Use Google Translate ). -psp-

Downloading Playlists
I'm trying to download a playlist, but when I select for it to start, it just doesn't do anything. It's not loading, as I left it for an hour and a half and didn't get a single item in my LinkGrabber.
Playlist Link: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** |

What error? What happens? Have you hit the start/play button?

no error. I click for it to process the playlist, and... nothing happens. Waited a couple of hours... still nothing, so I don't think it's loading...
