Me find plugin work in 24/5/2011

Dear community

I am using a premium account and have been successfully for the past 2 months, I LIVE AND WORK IN MAINLAND CHINA near Hong Kong. It's been fine, and very fast with no complaints, and then, all of a sudden, one day, it stopped working. Every time I start a download it automatically disconnects, waits 5 minutes, tries again and disconnects, this is the same for every single download I have tried with my fileserve account. Its not my ISP (unless they are lying) they offered to change my IP address to sort the issue. I further know its not because I've tried downloading at a friend's and the same problem happens. I have found nothing that explains this, unless fileserve itself has suddenly blocked this area but it was fine up until about 3 weeks ago. I don't think its anything to do with the great firewall as they don't tend to block warez unless it is predominately ruled by porn.

Any help would be much appreciated

According to another user in fileserve thread Fileserve is blocked in China/HongKong.
I don't know if it is isp site (they would not tell you the truth about this) or fileserve site

Please see the attached pictures. I have Fileserve Premium Account. When I start downloading from fileserve, it becomes hang just as shown in the picture. It hangs forever, and stays like this until I restart the JD. I can't stop the download because it shows me "Stopping all active downloads" and stays forever with this message and the JD hangs again. Here is the log file, it shows Resumepoint not valid. What does it mean?

My password contains no special characters, I can download from browsers. I can download from other hosters such as rapidshare or others from JD. But it is only Fileserve that is causing the problem. Sometimes my download starts and in the middle it becomes hang again as shown in picture, and says incomplete download or sometimes hoster problem etc. What can I do, please help me, thanks in advance.

Another problem is, My download speed is 1Mbps, but fileserve downloads at a lower speed, less than 512kbps in JD, while I get maximum speed from browser. But if I increase the number of connections in JD, I get the maximum speed. But it becomes hang again in the middle and I can't continue it as mentioned earlier.

this is causes by a known *unlimited timeout* bug in jdownloader. i suggest to use the nightly version of jdownloader

Thanks for the reply. How can I install the Nightly version? Do I need to uninstall the normal version? If it is a known bug, then is there any possibility to get it fixed in future? Can I keep both versions side by side? Thank you.

You don't need to install the Nightly test version. It's just another branch of the jD code. Read the thread referred to by Jiaz.

Since it's a "deep core" bug it's too difficult to remove it in the Stable version.

If you want to run just one instance of jD, you can switch between both versions and use the same configuration and link list.

If you want to run Stable and Nightly test versions simultaneously, then you need to have two jD folders. This means two configurations and two separate link lists.

I can load **External links are only visible to Support Staff**www.fileserve.com in my browser, however, if I input any download link into my browser from fileserve chrome displays "No Data Received" and after having put a download link into my browser, trying to navigate back to **External links are only visible to Support Staff**www.fileserve.com home page becomes impossible. This is only rectified by reconnecting my connection.

I have heard that too, however I have been using the service unhindered for a while, and it's only recently that i've encountered this problem and what I read before states that it was banned before I had this problem, so i'm not sure. I believe what you say about the isp though, it could be that I guess. damn it I want to download :(

I get very slow rate from 30 to 50 kb/s from fileserve premium account and I tried to increased max connection but not useful also the download get disconnected and I get "socket time out error" and download start at the next file in line and error occur again

I tried internet download accelerator and it was faster alot

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but it really bothers me.

If I copy fileserve links out of a browser or anywhere else, and it loads into the linkgrabber it takes anywhere from 3-5 minutes to check the links, but if i stop it (click the red X's) then right click and do "Check Online Status" then it checks them all in a few seconds every time.

So is it using 2 different ways to check links? I don't really see why it should be that slow, and it only happens on fileserve links.

Oh and this isn't recent or anything, it's been happening as long as I've been using FS and jdownloader together.

increase max connection (like IDM does by default, it uses 9 or so and jd only 1 ) of course the speed is different then
setup jd to use same connection number + setup your firewall/av correct

timeout sounds like kaspersky

what av/firewall do you use?

rightclick reset and jd will download them again
