Default Confirmation Box for "delete from list and disk confirmation"

Is there a way to restore the confirmation box for this option? "delete from list and disk confirmation"

I can't seem to find it anywhere to re-enable it.

Thanks!

Click on "Reset Dialog Information" in Settings -> Basics -> User Interface -> Feel.

 That's... Cumbersome. I've been searching for the delete confirmation option for ages. And it turns out it doesn't exist...

Do you mean you don't have that "Reset Dialog Information" button?

No I mean I never would have figured out that I have to use that feature to restore the confirm dialog. Naturally I was looking for a checkbox. Also it restores every dialog. Like the one you get when the app gets minimized to the notification area.

the checkbox does exist, but providing a reset option for each single dialog would be too much.

Where? I only see only see a balloon info and splash screen checkbox. But I guess you misunderstood it for the checkbox on the actual dialog.

With other programs I used there is a checkbox (or other preference) to enable or disable every confirmation. Here you can't enable or disable (in the options) just reset all to the default enabled state. Its a bit weird.

each dialog that allows it, has a checkbox *dont show again* in it
a checkbox in settings for each single dialog would be a very long list.

I would not put a checkbox on every confirmation dialogue if there is only one reset for all confirmation dialogues together.

The Reset button would then become a checkbox for enabling the confirmation dialogues.

but providing a checkbox for each single dialog style is also not a solution

Another issue is that most (confirmation) dialogues should always be shown. The Exit and Delete confirmation dialogues are good examples, because the actions they guard are potentially destructive.

Close JDownloader.
Open cfg/Dialogs.json and delete the line for the dialog you want to reset

I can check but when you say it is not listed in there, then it's not caused by *don't show again'
check Settings-Advanced Settings
GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings.rlywarnlevel
GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings.bypassallrlydeletedialogsenabled

I'm sorry but I cannot find any reference to the dialog either.
I suggest to backup the file, then use the *reset don't show again* in JDownloader and check if it works again. Just to be sure that it is caused by *dont show again* system at all
