Default Starting JD Prompts for Survey

Starting JD Prompts for the Survey. It has an OK button, but no CANCEL.

This forces the browser open (which can take minutes). This is a serious breach of expectations for a product like JD.

What happens if the language is not English? What if no browser is configured? (I have not tested these)

The jD Team have always been full of surprises.

I haven't seen the survey, because I don't allow automatic updates. I would like to have it on this website, otherwise I'll not be able to reply.

Warning for all customers of jD :- backup your jD folder before you update. You never know what the next invention will be.

It's a workaround, the requestDialog has some resize-problems, the messageDialog hasn't - We apologize for this problem.

I propose a simple workaround, worked for me:
1. Click OK.
2. Take survey and help JD.
3. Close browser.

It's easy as that.

@ elyz
I agree with you. I took the survey right away.

I have been working at user interfaces for too many years not to be concerned when people are forced to a web page. It is considered an insult by many people. I suppose they could say that in the comments at the end.
