I have problems with jd2 and uploaded.to links and my premium account.

All links start to download, but are interrupted with temporary unavailable messages and captchas.

I think I've uploaded a log "27.11.13 13.08.32to27.11.13 10.32.37 jdlog://8910905774831/", please forgive me if I've done anything wrong.

Do you have an uploaded.to premium account or a premium account of a multi-host?

Default Uploaded Premium Account Problem

I am using jd2 the first time and added my uploaded premium account. It was recognized, but it wont download as premium. Always needs captchas. Also all links added via dlc container are not recognized. The list ist empty. ClicknLoad addes the links but without name, they are all offline although you can download them.

Hope you can help me.

Please make sure that nothing is blocking JD2 and/or Java, like AV/FW.

Compress your folder cfg and logs, then send the compressed file via EMail to support@jdownloader.org, an add an explanation of your problem. This will help to the developers to find where your problem is.

Default Uploaded.to downloads often get interrupted

Hi there!

I didn't feel like posting this in the "Host Plugin Reports" subforum as this is really not a problem with the plugin itself anyway.

It just so happens that my downloads on Uploaded.to frequently get interrupted (on an average of 4 fails for 1 complete) for no apparent reasons... I'm wondering if this behaviour is observed by everybody or if this issue is specific to me?

I should however point that this mostly affects the long transfers, ie. BIG files (eg. 300/500Mb). Since free download mode on Uploaded doesn't allow to resume interrupted downloads, I suspect this might be intentionary from Uploaded.to in order to save bandwidth by killing long free downloads + a good annoyance to force users to go premium.

Am I right on this? Some feedback would be nice. (Also tips if there are any to help with this particular problem), thanks people!

@Angar
I merged the thread anyways
1. What do you mean by "interrupted"? Which error message do you get/what does JD do then?
2. Please post a log...

Alright then, thank you for that!

that's the thing, I don't get any error message (well maybe there's sth in the log, you'll tell me), but the GUI doesn't say anything, I just see that the amount of Mb in the Status and Progress columns freeze, ie. no more bytes are received, and after a while the download stops by itself (automatically moving to the next).

Sorry, not familiar here yet. Logs being huge, shall I post just the relevant part of it (ie. the end, starting from the moment when I initiated the file download), or post everything (between spoiler tags)?

Got this after uploading my log:

Access forbidden. Logs are only accessible for supporters as they might contain private data. If you are not a supporter, please hand this link to your supporter:

http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/119714

(I get it this code allows you to access my log, right?)
I appreciate the time you will take to consider my little trouble (no rush anyways, I'm just glad to have more knowledgeable people than me looking into it)!

Thanks for helping!

I tried this first before actually, since I know Uploaded accepts only 1 connection at a time, but it didn't help and even with Max.con=1 my downloads failed (a file would get interrupted at 350Mb out of 500Mb, sometimes after a few dozen Mb only, and say 1 times out of 4 or 5 on average it will successfully complete... There's really no rule about what happens).

Any other ideas of things I can try please?

Big download succeeded with 2 Beta!!
Now of course I'll have to download more of these to make sure it wasn't a false posit... Err, I mean just a luck coincidence that it completed this time, hehe! (I sound like "my glass's always half-empty", don't I?)

On a side-note, this Beta version is greeeeaaat!! Many of the new options are fantastic so I can't wait to have this become a stable release (for now I'll keep using it merely for no-choice scenarios like these big uploaded.to urls, since stability is a prerequisite for me). Bit of complain though (I'm french after all, complaining's in my genes ^_-): the automatic extraction of archives once downloads finish shouldn't be activated by default IMHO (forgot to check the parameters in my hurry to try the beta version with my links, and ended up with several gigs being decompressed -- the link I downloaded was the last of a series of RAR -- where I didn't need them to).

In any case, so far so good. I'll report later whether this indeed fixed my problem for good or I claimed victory too early, but in the meantime thanks a lot for your advices and time guys! JDownloader still rocks!!

Since returning from vacations, JDownloader -NIGHTLY- Build 23028 (Java Vendor: Oracle Corporation, Java Version: 1.7.0_45), reports my premium uploaded account as "free account". Any ideas? Is this only happening to me? How do I create a log about it? Thanks!

NOTE: to clarify, the problem is that even dough most of the time it downloads pretty fast, it is only one connection per file, as if i was free account, but with a premium speed.

NOTE2: JD2 reports it as a premium account, but I still can not use it (edit: use JD2)

Yes, is about the FAQ updates. I didn't read your edit (the NOTE2), because you have edited after I created my post.

Please post your log (see my signature if you don't know about how create it)

Short update on the "interrupted download for big files" (see my post above):
After successfully downloading 5x500 Mb files in a raw I can now safely confirm that JD2 beta indeed fixes the issue!
I'd also like to add that this is actually a FEATURE provided by the beta, not a bug fix: as I reported in my initial post, the problem doesn't come from the stable JD plugin anyway, as downloading big Uploaded.to files in any browser will raise the same issue! So this definitely seems like a /default behaviour/ from the host (hence my suspecting that it was possibly done on purpose...?). Yet JD2b manages to work around this problem somehow.
Truly a great tool.
So support worthy free software people!

And my many thanks to all at JDownloader staff for their amazing work.
Cheers!

Linux Fedora 2.6.35.11-83.fc14.x86_64
Static IP from the ISP
Java 7
JD2 w/ latest updates
Premium account

Logs: 10.01.14 08.20.34to10.01.14 11.55.47 jdlog://3784823439831/
10.01.14 11.56.34to11.01.14 22.09.19 jdlog://6926823439831/

Issue #1: Temporarily Unavailable
Because of my horrible DSL line, this tend to happen a lot. But, what is really strange about this problem is that it tends to only happen after 90+% of the file has been downloaded. The most recent example is a file that is 3.31 GB is size which got to 3.13 GB completed before this happened. A resume does not work, even though the package has the icon that indicates it can be resumed. The only "fix" that I know of is to reset it and download from scratch, wasting all that time.

I've talked about this issue in the JD2 beta forum and how I've not been able to get a log when this happens. Based upon what I've seen, when this even happens, it doesn't trigger that ability to create a log that covers the period of time of the event. The next issue does appear to create a log that can be used.

Issue 2: An unexpected error occurred
This event occurs less often and when it does happen, I can create a log. Out of shear luck, this error also managed (I hope) to capture in the log a "Temporarily Unavailable" event. This event appears to be recoverable in that the download can be resumed, which is what happened after I restarted JD2 in order to get the latest updates and hopefully fix a different issue (not related to the plugin). The last time that this happened, I was able to resume it that time as well.

Summary:
Hopefully the events discussed above are in the logs. Issue #1 is the most frustrating as I have to start the download over every time it happens, and it happens way to often. Since issue #2 is less frequent and can be resumed, it is not high on my priority list of issues.

Thanks for looking into these issues.

Default Is free downloading possible on Uploaded?

This is a general question about Uploaded.net and downloading from them using their web interface.

Even when I clear my cookies and reset my internet connection to obtain a different IP address, I'm finding that Uploaded is always throwing up this message:

=======
The free download is currently not available - Please try again later! Premium account users are not affected by this temporary limitation.
=======

It's been doing that for at least the past 2 or 3 weeks. Are others seeing this also? Or is Uploaded doing this on a geographic (country) basis for some countries and not others?

Hi
Check if you get the same or a similar message via browser.
If so, it might not be possible but if you can download via browser but not via JD, it would be a JD bug!

Merged uploaded threads.

GreeZ psp
EDIT

@MrVideo
1. I can find some timeouts in your first log.
This may happen because of your connection but resume should work.
If not, this would be a bug.
Test it: Download some megabytes, then disconnect your connection and check out if you can resume it then.

2. I couldn't find the other error(s) in your log, sorry!

My question about free downloading from Uploaded.net has nothing to do with Jdownloader. I have jdownloader and use it mostly for very large files with many parts spread across many file lockers.

When there are files that are only 1 or 2 parts I download them using web (http) interface to the filelocker.

I am asking if Uploaded.net is currently allowing free downloading, because I keep getting the above message when I try using the web-link to the file.

If others are currently able to download from Uploaded.net as a free user using jdownloader, then I wonder why (or how) they are blocking me when I use their web interface.

@Sum_Guy
Yes, they do allow free downloads.
Did you already try to download from uploaded via browser (although they shouldn't work either)?

Please read my post (#476) carefully.

For the past few weeks, every time I try to download from Uploaded.net using my browser, I am told that free downloading is "currently unavailable". Even when I clear the cookies and obtain a different IP address.

I don't know if jdownloader has the same problem - because I don't want to fire up jdownloader to download a single file.

But I can't see how jdownloader would work in this case, given that the browser method doesn't work.
