Cool

Shhhhhhhht. Some official supporters won't appreciate you write about MF in an RS thread. They might even start shouting at you.

I'm glad that your RS issue has been solved.

can someone try copying some text into linkgrabber? because it adds only 1 file instead of 2, even if i manually add space between links in linkgrabber (linkgrabber should split the text into 2 files automatically, i guess). the only solution was to add each link separately... i had to rename first http to hxxp, because the forum automatically added [url] tag.

text: hxxp://rapidshare.com/files/364892153/dok_Sci-Fi_MZZ_StarGate_by_ICoU.part1.rar**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
i'll post further info when needed.

there is a space missing between the two links. and hxxp must be http

i know there is a space missing. and of course i am adding http and not hxxp (i renamed it only because this forum was adding [url] tags). the point is, when i copy this to linkgrabber and add a space there, it still only adds only one link and not two. i must press enter before the second "http" to have the 2 files added.

I've copied the line into a text editor, replaced the xx by tt and added a space between both links. When I copied that one line to jD's Linkgrabber, jD recognised both RS links.

@remi

It probably worked in your case because your text editor made word wrapping after the space char, so the 2 links were treated as 2 long words in 2 lines.
Without word wrapping (one long line with 160 chars) - only part1 is automatically parsed by jD.
After clicking "Add URL(s)" - that little editor also wraps the two URLs to 2 lines and then both links are parsed correctly.

So the little problem is with automatic parse.
The same minor bug in Nightly and Stable.

yes, when i copy the text into text editor and add a missing space, jd recognize 2 links. but when i add the space in the linkgrabber (linkgrabber automatically rename hxxt to http), jd adds only 1 file.

thank a lot!

p.s. is it possible to do in the future, if clipboard contains more links, but without a space, to split them into more files? for example http....rarhttp.....rarhttp.....rar into 3 files? because some forums have sux formatting and it's like this in the clipboard. and controlling 100+ links is max pain. thank you:)

@culinko
You can easily create a macro (most text editors have such a functionality):
replace every "http:" with "\nhttp:" (\n means new line).
Maybe jD would pre-parse clipboard - replacing the texts as mentioned above then parsing the result for links?

@Jiaz:
You're right - the links with parameters may cause some confusion but most of "hxxp://blabla?hxxp://link" are simple redirection to the correct link: hxxp://link

So with
"hxxp://link1hxxp://link2...**External links are only visible to Support Staff** after replacing "hxxp:" with "\nhxxp:" (of course xx means tt we will get:
"

hxxp://link1

hxxp://link2

....

hxxp://blabla?

hxxp://linkX
...

hxxp://linkN"

So the links would work anyway.

Or parser may ignore adding "\n" when it finds '?' (or other special chars) at the beginning of the next "hxxp://" so the text:
"hxxp://blabla?hxxp://link" will not be changed

BTW - maybe the posts from #322 would be move to separate topic?

@Jiaz: on that page it looks ok, every link has its own line, but when i copy that link, it looks like in my #322 post (in notepad it looks like 2 lines, lol)

@remi it's a slovak forum, called war-board.net. but i was able to download from there okay, because i am visiting that site quite often. the links are in [code] tags. i tried other links from other topics, and linkgrabber still recognizes only 1 file, even from 20 links. they must have changed something (or jd), because it worked before, i'm 100% sure. you could see for yourself if you want, registration is free afaik.

@editestowy you are right, it's doing with links from other hosts too, not only from RS. but don't know if it's some kind of bug or a feature request:)

Cool

Try your account in your browser. Then remove it from jD, restart jD and add it again.

Enable Premium globally.

On "**External links are only visible to Support Staff** there are for instance 3 sharerapid.cz links in the Links page of my browser. I believe two of them are valid (I don't understand the language) and they can be copied easily to jD.

I don't want to search for hours on that site; so if you can give me a more specific page on that site I can check it again.

Please post a sample list of links and upload a corresponding Log.

JDownloader will change to free downloading in RapidShare if you do not have enough Rapids left to download your file.

@remi you were in "discussion" section, not in "download" section:) try this: "**External links are only visible to Support Staff** . in first post there are 3 fileserve links (linkgrabber finds 2, part 3 is ok and part1+2 are joined in one link, so jd declares it as offline) and 6 hotfile links (linkgrabber finds 3 files, part 1, 3 and 5)

On that page my browser only identifies the 6 sharerapid.cz links that are also visible in the last post and many non host related links. When I look in the source code of the page, there are no hotfile.com nor fileserve.com links. Do I need to login?

try the nightly as it has ability to check html sourcecode in clipboard.
some browser (ie i guess) cause the problems when copying text and then it reformats the text.

@culinko: next time use example links where ppl dont need to register.

@ culinko,
In the future, please try to find links in web sites that do not require registration (or at least are in English or German). It took me a while to register in Slovak.

This problem is fixed in the Nightly version, so it is considered solved.

In version 9581, you should be able to select one line at a time. If this is not the case, let me know and I will report it to the developers (I will supply my login info so that they can test it). It has to do with the specific Web Server and how end of line characters are sent.

@ Jiaz,
Sorry I wrote a message at the same time.

@remi: yes, you have to be registered and logged in, i said "registration is free afaik", but i was not clear enough to tell you that you have to register...

@Jiaz, drbits: sorry, but i found that problem only on this slovak forum, so i could not post english forum or another forum without registration, because i haven't found similar problem elsewhere yet. i am using chromium 10.0.650.0 (72561). i am using the nightly, but it seems there is no update available yet.

edit: tested with firefox - the issue is gone! and with IE 8 - jd finds 2 of 3 files and the input from clipboard is strange, there are some .xml files, directories, and so on. but since some time ago, i don't use firefox anymore and use chromium now, so it seems i have to live with it :X

Default Rapidshare Premium not working

Hi,

My rapidshare premium account has been having problems through jdownloader for the past week.

I would have to delete my premium account and re enter it again quite often, otherwise it would download as a freeuser. i could fix this by deleting and re entering.

As of this morning, even if i delete my account and re enter it, it still will only download as freeuser and not as my premium account.

My premium account has 44 days remaining on it.

Please HELP.

Can you still download with your premium account in your browser?

What about a complete and detailed log?

Hey,
For the past few days, JDownloader has been d/ling from RS as if it was happy hour all day(although it is marked on in the options).
I've just tried to d/l although it's not Happy hours(As I see on my rapidshare page).
Help please?

disable the wait for happy hour and enable your account
if that does not help, provide screenshots and/or logfiles

wait for rsHappyHour is enabled (how about disabling it)
+ you have too many connections so don't be suprised if you have download issues, the rs firewall might cut your connections
