Update fails
For the last week JD keeps trying to update and after about a minute fails with an error message about insufficient privileges related to file core.jar.
Current version Fri Feb 21 14:08:52 CET 2014 If it's any use, here's the log. 24.02.14 15.19.50to24.02.14 15.18.48 jdlog://9922734130931/ Also, still has the mistake in the message "Validing install". "Valid" is an adjective. "Validate" is the verb. Last edited by Gweilo; 24.02.2014 at 10:46. |

I see in the logs that there is some restore code running.
I would suggest to re-install (backup cfg folder) Please give feedback if everything works fine afterwards

I found a "lock" file in JD's folder dated 21 Feb, and it was in use by JDownloader, even though I had shutdown the program.
So I killed the JD process and deleted the lock file Then restarting JD it could update normally. Now I have version : Tue Feb 25 03:45:42 CET 2014 |
