Hi,
1. For uptobox.com this has been changed a long time ago due to technical reasons and security reasons.
Just lookup "Application programming interface" via google if you want to find out more.

2. For 1fichier only the default setting has been changed.
It is recommended to use the API in premium mode.
You can still use the website via:
Settings -> Plugins -> 1fichier.com -> Disable "Use premium API"
Thisa is NOT recommended!

What's the problem with using an apikey for login?

ok, with 1fichier I was able to put username and password from the plugin section, as far as uptobox is concerned it is not possible to do the same somehow without putting API

I know username and password well, I find it easier with them. with API key I have to copy it every time from the account, because I don't remember it

I don't really understand that - you need to add it to JD once and that's all.

Sorry but username:password support will not be added for uptobox.com as it would defeat the purpose of an API.
