How to change stable channel to dev channel
Hi, I'd like to use plug-ins from "Wait for JD2 Core Update". Can I change the stable channel to dev to try these plug-ins early?

Its not quite simple, but this is the easiest way.
you will need to setup eclipse ide, and add the respective projects, this will keep you up to date with the svn servers. https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...-ide-eclipse/0 hope that helps. raztoki

Ah, so I need to build it myself if I wanna use it.
But do you guys plan on providing a setting to change the channel to get prebuilt dev binaries? |

do it yourself?, basically yes, you have the source and ide builds for you. you can either run it within the ide within debug mode or standard run. once compiled you can also run outside of the ide, you will find in the binary directory
plans, no, quite simply there are no prebuilt dev binaries. Effectively JD2 is that, plugins are live few minutes after committing assuming there isn't anything calling from core components which are not already live. Else build block event happens and prevents plugin updates from occurring. Appwork will review updates within components that they write, and other contributors and push updates live. This happens at there discretion (available time) for the reasons they have at that given time. Once the command is given, build completes, and populates update servers update is available to end users. raztoki
