Default Extractor making an extra subfolder

This just started happening as it was working fine a few weeks ago. Basically, for some reason, the extractor (I assume it's this) will make a subfolder within the folder that is made with the "create subfolder" option enabled.

So the settings I have:
-Extractor-
Extracted folder -> I:\Downloads\JD Downloads
Create subfolder -> Yes:
Subfolder pattern -> %PACKAGENAME%

-Packagizer
All predefined rules enabled with no custom rules active.

If this is confusing, I'll give an example of what is happening...
So I start out with 3 files in the link grabber.
Names of files:
File 1.jpg
File 1.part1.rar (.mkv file)
File 1.part2.rar (.mkv file)
I merge them into 1 packaged named, "Package 1" and move it to the download list.

After everything is downloaded, I have a folder named, "Package 1" in the correct directory but when I go to open it, there are two items, the File 1.jpg and another folder named, "Package 1" which contains the extracted File 1.mkv. So basically, the path to the .mkv file is: I:\Downloads\JD Downloads\Package 1\Package 1

The only thing I can think of is that the extractor is making a folder that already exists within the directory it's making it in so maybe it gets confused and makes the folder within the folder of the same name...

You specified to create two subfolders

Packagizer Rule: default- Create a subfolder with Package name

Extractor Settings: You've enabled subfolder again with Package Name

So Download of A.rar will go to
XY\A

extraction of A.rar will go to
I:\Downloads\JD Downloads\A
in case you only enable subfolder then it will be
I:\Downloads\JD Downloads\A\A

Please provide screenshots of your extraction settings. Nothing has changes since weeks/month in those methods.

So the extractor uses both the settings in the extractor and the packagizer? I'll disable the subfolder option in the extractor to see what happens.

Edit:
Very strange. Now going through all the folders in my download directory I find a weird places where the extractor worked just fine and others where another subfolder was created. It's seems very random... Again, I'll try again with the extractor subfolder option disabled and see it that fixes this problem.

Everything downloaded prior to 4/18/16 seems fine but its on the 18th and after that I start getting the this problem.

Nope. The extracted file got placed in I:\Downloads\JD_Downloads with the "make subfolder" option disabled in the extractor.

Note:
The screen shot has the subfolder option enabled due to me enabling it before making the screen shot...

Nope, the packagizer rules affect the "where to download to" and the settings from extractor affect the "where to extract to".

Can you please provide screenshot of "wrong folders" according to you?
The screenshot shows that you set root for extraction to I:\Downloads\JD_Downloads and it will create a subfolder with packagename

1.jpg is what it looked like after extraction and 2.jpg is what I want it to look like. I can't imagine there would be a folder inside the rar with the same nomenclature I use. I'll download again with the "delete achieve after extraction" disabled to see what's inside.

It works if I disable both "create subfolder" and "extract to following folder". Just let the packagizer do all the work... I was just confused by the fact that I thought I needed to specify the extract directory. I guess I'm too used to manual extractions that I can't think outside the box. Thanks for the help!

Extract to following folder should work just fine. You only have to disable create subfolder.

Thanks for the feedback!
