Seems weird that is not working for you, because I have had some TeamViewer sessions, and in all cases it worked (under win xp, vista, and 7).

Hello,
I tried to download a few youtube movies and I get this error: "FFmpeg is missing"

For example, when trying to download this video: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

JDownloader2 will download the 360p video (The Tale of the Three Brothers (HD)(360p_H.264-AAC).mp4 - 9 MB)
but it won't download the 240p video (The Tale of the Three Brothers (HD)(240p_H.264-AAC).mp4 - 10 MB), giving me the above mentioned error.

However, if I introduce this link into JD1, I don't even get the 240p mp4 file.

It looks like the 240p mp4 file doesn't even exist on youtube website. Instead, it will be converted from th 360p version instead.
Then why it appears in the LinkGrabber download list of JD2 ?

How can I disable this FFmpeg conversion feature?

Sorry, can I set JDownloader 2 to consider that I push Cancel every time it gets the ""FFmpeg is missing" error?

So it won't ask me every time what to do. The problem is that it stops downloading every time it's asking that, so I have to come back to JDownloader window every time I get this error

Ever since last update, Youtube videos are not downloading with resume capability. Resume icon is still visible .but if i stop download and try again.. it starts from the beginning.

@GuitarMantra, I suppose the videos that can't be resume are the dash videos, this new feature is not finished yet, jiaz still is working on that, I asked in the ticket if will be possible to resume such videos, but atm haven't received the answer. I guess will be possible.

Sorry.. i downloaded a video with jdownloader beta, that asked me about ffmpeg directory (i've downloader static version x64 and put his directory in jdownloader). During download i opened video with vlc and it works.. but when download is finished and i opened the file, vlc doesn't reproduced the file.. any suggestions?

Did you download ffmpeg and tell JD the directory?
Did you then download a youtube video?
What's the problem?

If you played the video while it was still downloading, I guess that was the cause of the problem.

The following video is listed by JD2 as being offline, when in fact I downloaded the 720p version using YTD Video Downloader program to do so:

This one is a little strange in that it put it in the Linkgrabber Offline package, but it got the name of the video just fine. Nothing else. YTD Video Downloader is currently downloading the file. Don't know if it is 1080p, or not. But, it is supposed to do 1080p now, as I installed the latest version. But it didn't. Only getting the 720p version.

Latest version of JD2 installed (kept up-to-date)

So what can I do?

Premiumize.me proxy + JD + YT doesn't work.
Premiumize.me proxy + YT works fine.
