Question Pornhub Plugin - only HLS

Hi there,

since recently JDownloader 2 only retreives HLS streams when pasting Pornhub links.
A few days/week ago there was always the HLS stream and a normal MP4 file where one could see the file size. That is annoying, but else the HLS should be identical to the MP4, right?

Is this a bug due to an outdatet plugin or is this the new standard with Pornhub links and it cannot be changed?

Greetings

Hi,

At this moment Jiaz has more information about this but I'll try to answer anyways - Jiaz will correct me later if I'm wrong.

1. Yes for HLS streams you cannot see the filesize right away - this is not a bug.
2. I'm unable to find any HTTP Streams via browser - how do you think is JD supposed to grab http streams when there are none available?

So Pornhub stopped delivering HTTP streams?
I don’t know how to look after a HTTP stream via browser like you said so I couldn’t do this beforehand.

I didn't look deep into it but they do not use http URLs to deliver the videos atm.
You can e.g. see this by using this method for checking.

@Baumstamm5:
Most likely they stopped using HTTP streams as part of their recent changes.
I couldn't find HTTP streams anymore. I think they are disabled for the moment/for good
