Done.
Added support for the following Invidious instances:
Code:
invidious.snopyta.org, invidious.kavin.rocks, invidious.zapashcanon.fr, invidious.fdn.fr, yewtu.be, invidious.tube, invidious.xyz, invidiou.site, invidious.site, invidious.mservice.ru.com, tube.connect.cafe, vid.mint.lgbt
If you find a new instance, just let us know and we can easily add it.

can a plugin with setting be added?
so that user can add urls of instanced hisself and because it is more than a youtube frontend.
you can actually download the video from the invidious instance itself ( if it supports it). I mean from the instance domain with no need to connect to youtube. like this (**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**)
with both regular video and dash.
like seen here (**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**)

I don't see the need for this because all in all, the content comes from youtube.
I know this is bad if e.g. YT is blocked by our ISP or in your country but you will have to use a VPN then.

Please keep in mind that, if needed, you can download from nearly any video site by following these instructions.

I agree with pspzockerscene. Doesn't make much sense to add a nearly 1:1 clone of YT plugin for quality selection and dash support and everything else when the content is served by YT nevertheless

that's the point.
the content can be served by the instance itself.
as in, if youtube is blocked (and googlevideo too) you can still watch and download it.
the instance acts as a proxy.

With this argumentation we'd have to add web-proxy support for a lot of other websites too.

I still don't see the point.
You may use such sites for watching as an alternative but adding support for something that essentially simply provides the same data from another source but works totally different would be a lot of work for a small userbase.

Please check the instructions I've linked in my last post - you can already download from these websites, just not fully automated.

EDIT

Also there are enough free proxies/VPNs out there you can use to just access/download from the real YT.

thank you for all the fast answer.
I would have preferred a separate plugin and even more importantly support for download through the instance and not from youtube, but even support that you added which I think just convert the url to youtube is better than nothing.
I unsubscribe from this now.
have a nice day.

@rezad: I know and understand that point but it's not worth the time to work/maintain a nearly 1:1 clone of YT plugin because without quality/format selection or all other stuff, a plugin for invidious would be useless.
It's much easier to use a proxy/vpn than to add webproxy support for all different sites

Anyone is free to develop the plugin for that.
