Default Not downloading document files from Google drive

Example links:

the txt file in root:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

the document and sheet here:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

the document and sheets in the root folder here:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

I believe this is because google drive automatically converts these files to a format on download (although it shouldn't for the txt file, it converts it to a docx file anyways when I try to download it through a browser).

Thanks

yes, it's caused by the *auto convert*

I have not yet found a way to disable it, just a *workaround* (share first, open edit link, then save as plain)

There is an option to enable/disable this feature on upload. Have not yet found a way to change this on download

Sounds as if this isn't really a JD issue/missing feature hmm

I've added/fixed support for gdocs download.
It will only work when you add a Google Drive API key to JD see Settings -> Plugins -> drive.google.com.
Our plugin will try to automatically chose a reasonable format.

If a "preferred format" selection is required, please let us know.
