Default Downloads already downloaded will be downloaded again in next session?

Sometimes the downloads which are downloaded in the last session or in a part of the last session (some downloads) obviously are not stored as already downloaded, when closing jD and will be download a second time after starting jD the next time.

How could I avoid this?

Nice greetings, Dirk

Cool

If the files already exist and are in the same directory, you can set the option Settings -> Basics -> Download & Connections -> Download Control -> "If the file already exists" to "skip link" in order to avoid a second download.

I am not quite sure, whether this is, what you ask for: it is here
H:\Eigene Dateien\Software\Programme\JDownloader

Very sorry, it happened yesterday, the log seems to be gone, cannot find it anymore...I will post it when it happens the next time.

Thank you, remi,

Yes, this option is already activated, but I had moved the files from the download folder.

Many thanks, nice greetings, Dirk

Cool

Dirk, move your H:\Eigene Dateien\Software\Programme\JDownloader folder to H:\JDownloader. The path you're using, might be protected. I hope that helps.

Thank you, remi,

Okay, I will try...protected by what?

It seemed to has happened the first or second or...time (actually I have never noticed it before), that it happened. The path has always stayed the same.

Thanks again, nice greetings, Dirk
