When downlaoding from highporn i get a mix off connection errors after a frew minutes downloading usually either host problem or temporarily unavailable. however when i watch the videos on the site ther eseems to be no problem which suggests it's not the host.

Have same problem. Downloads stops in minutes.
By the way. Why it restarts only after 10 minutes waiting? I tried to find this in settings, even in advanced settings but didn't find

Whenever I try to download a video from these domains, the download halts by itself midway through. Is there a method I can use to either avoid these halts or to resume these downloads after they have stopped?

Please see my posts in tanix.net thread because this host share the same plugin with it and it has an opened ticket. The halt is done by download core (I think), as a result of premature reached EOF "signal" given by the server, I don't see any method to avoid it. Stop and start can remove the count down. After next core update, the plugin will work slightly better (remember the final link).

Thanks for letting me know, I will wait to see whether the next update cures this problem. I got confused earlier by the "closed" status of the earlier bug trackers. I am glad to hear the devs have not yet given up creating a solution.
