Default change of download url

Hi there,

It sometimes so happens (mostly when downloading resumable http links) that a link that is downloaded is only valid for a certain time. Or maybe the link becomes unavailable in one location, but is available in a mirror location. So if you stop the download and try and resume later, it will not resume without changing the location.

What is necessary is to enable a feature to change the download link of a particular file. (by right clicking file and selecting properties, then you should be able to edit the URL field)

This is comparable to IDM where you can right click, go to properties and then change the 'address' field.

Regards,

Changing download url would be nice too. Since letitbit extension doesnt work well atm, I have to manually get the link and put it in JD and if my internet gets interrupted it would have been nice to change the url with new download link!

Is this implemented in any version (stable, nightly or svn)?
Thanks!

Sorry pspzockerscene, that post was more than one year ago, and maybe was implemented in any of the available versions right now (nightly or svn), that was the reason of my question; don't get angry!

There hasn't been any upgrade since December 2009. I suppose this is the missing element.

Is there any news on this? I search in the bugtracker but didn't find anything.

Thanks in advance for the great work!

I can't resume downloads with urls that change every time I try to resume after an interruption. Any progress with this feature so far?

Thanks.

No (yet). Simply wait until the feature takes place.
