Yeah not so sure this is solved yet...

I'm using Jdownloader 0.9.580 and have a preimum account with Fileserve.

Sometimes a download will work, other times it goes back to "Invalid Account" sometimes I've even seen it say "Account OK" but then the capticha's things keep coming up...

I'm not sure if there is a plugin i'm missing or what, but I haven't installed any additional plugins or anything. from the UAE, I can ONLY download if I have a premium account (ip address errors come up) on any site...

So, I have not installed any fileserve plugin's... just whatever installed with the program.

(Remember, it will work, maybe a couple downloads will work but then randomly it switches back... I'm doing max. con. 2 and max Dls 2.)

Any help would be great... already sent my login info via PM...

You need to find a proxy server outside the region that is covered by your ISP. It doesn't necessarily need to be a server in the US.

You can search for them with your preferred web search engine. If you want to be sure it works well and is fast, you'll probably need to pay for it.

In Settings -> Basics -> Downloads & Connections -> Internet & Network -> Proxy Settings you can then specify your proxy server address, port and optionally the login/password combination.

Note that if you set a proxy server in jD, all your jD traffic will go via this server, unless you would run multiple instances of jD.

Isn't it a bit strange that you need a workaround like a VPN or proxy just because JDownloader doesn't have a "force premium account"? It sounds like a simple issue to solve, just disable whatever check JD uses. Then again, I'm no programmer.

JDownloader has a known problem with some hosts. JDownloader periodically checks the remaining time and/or bandwidth for premium accounts, and disables the account in the table when an error occurs.

I believe that the problem is either format changes in the web page that reports the information or (as in your case) the server does not respond quickly enough and JDownloader assumes that there is no valid account.

When JDownloader has "controlled retry" added, then this problem will probably go away.

A bug report has been filed about Premium accounts falsely changing to invalid.

Until this is fixed, you can use the Accounts table to "Refresh" the account information when it changes.

The question was asked about why a VPN should be necessary for communication with some sites from some nations. In the case of Singapore, the government filters all international communication that is not encrypted.

Regardless of where you live, your connection to your e-mail server and any your logins should use an encrypted connection. Ideally, most communication would be encrypted, but companies charge for the extra computation required to decrypt a message or file.

So far, the only file host I know supports SSL is RapidShare, and the charge double when you download using SSL.

since this morning i recived the "Plugin error out of date";
i also did the update,and after update i still have the problem from fileserve.

What about some example links and a complete and detailed log?

Added errorhandling for many new error-cases, improved errorhandling, improved waittime handling, added more loggers, disabled resume for freeusers (not allowed anymore by fileserve), wait for the next update!

Fileserve no longer supports resuming? But all my fileserve links were resuming fine until just before the last update. I updated in the middle of a fileserve download, and then after the update the file wouldn't resume. None of my fileserve files will resume now.

i was going to say that. It's that a problem that can be solved? or should i delete the 500MB of a 950MB file i was downloading

I dont know if it's the right section to post this but I got lately a problem with JDownloader ...

Everytime i want to download from fileserve it just ask me to write the code but this time when i want to download it ask me code after code after code Like that one
