Looks like you did not change the User-Agent setting as described here.
Your log contains:

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0

What you should use is:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/114.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

I don't know what I did wrong the first time, but I did it again and it works. Sorry for wasting your time and thanks.

After I change user agent for vk from "JDDEFAULT" to "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/114.0.0.0 Safari/537.36"
I can download these videos.

1. Both of your URLs are working fine here using default User-Agent value "JDDEFAULT" both with- and without vk.com account.
2. Your log doesn't contain any vk.com activity.
Please enable debug mode before and provide a fresh logID. Instructions:

I have downloaded videos from this russian social media site vk dot com which are seems incomplete even when it shows 100% complete on JD.

After I tried play them on VLC/Movist players, they would get stuck as if the download is incomplete. The videos play without issues on the VK website so the issue definitely related to the download.

Could it be that I was downloading the videos and streaming them no VK website at the same time?

Any help would be appreciated.

Mate, for some reason this issue persists again even after enabling Prefer HLS Stream download. Any ideas what could be the issue here?

Can you please make JD grab vk videos as mkv (vp9 encoded)?
the site offers most videos in this format, usually a few days after the video had been uploaded.

The benefits are huge. Smaller size, similar quality.
