Activate event when download finish
Is there a way to tell JDownloader to call a URL when a download is complete?
It could be warned to create this event during the course of the download or indicate the event when using AddLinks using the API. In both cases, I would like that at the end of the download, this will notify a URL with the UUID parameter of the finalized download. It's possible? |

You can use the eventscripter and write script in event Download-Stopped. Within script check if the download is finished and then call the url you want with parameter you want.
Best would be to contact mgpai for help, see https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525 He is our eventscript master

Thank you for the answer. I want to install the Event Scripter extension but when I click Install Now, the loading bar animates but never seems to complete. I've had it running for over an 30 minutes.
I am runing Linux NAS 4.2.8 x86_64 GNU/Linux What can be happening? |

Restart JDownloader and make sure your JDownloader is up2date.

Perfect, restart and working. Now, how I am in Linux, there is no drop down to choose events. There is only one checkbox 'EventScripter: APIPanel Visible' and a textarea 'EventScripter: Scripts'. Nothing else.
How do I do it to put the script activated when a download finishes? |

You mean you're using MyJDownloader? Webinterface?
In that case best would be to install/use JDownloader with GUI and setup the eventscripter there and once it is working you can copy/paste the value from Settings-Advanced Settings-EventScripter: Scripts
