[False-positive] JDownloader.jar scanned as trojan file
My Mac antivirus software flagged the JDownloader.jar file as Java.Trojan.GenericGBA.XXXXX and deleted it immediately.
This is causing a problem because JDownloader cannot launch without this JDownloader.jar file. I believe it's a false positive. Can anything be done? Please do not ask me to turn off my antivirus software. |

As long as you downloaded jDownloader from this official site, it's surely a false positive. And you're right, you should not turn off your antivirus software! But you can add exceptions in your virus scanner to not scan certain folders and/or files. Search the web on how to add exceptions for your virus scanner, add the jDownloader installation folder to the exception list and you should be fine.

Guess it’s the only choice for now. Put the JDownloader.jar file in the exception list.
