i've been using jd2 for a long time. so this is probably a problem i caused... anyway, sites like ul.to only open an empty browser window instead of a captcha... (firefox)

any idea, what i'm doing wrong here?

yes, and it is enabled in the settings->captcha tab.
do adblock or script redirect interfere with captchas in some way? seems unlikely...

Solved it...
the browser command line was broken. the second string was "-app: %" for some reason.

Correct command line for anyone else with this problem:
[ "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Mozilla Firefox\\firefox.exe", "%s" ]

-app is for chrome only to start in *app mode*

and app mode is for chrome yes, and seems to only work on windows operating system.
