remove a specific part of the file name
Hi everyone,
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** in this playlist, I want to take the English part followed by the number to be the file name and ignore or remove the non-English part |

And?
Is this supposed to be set as new packagename or filename? Either way, see our Packagizer feature: https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...paketverwalter

I've checked it and indeed it is hard to create a nice pattern for this specific purpose.
I recommend using external tools for batch renaming in this case. Example: - SpeedCommander - TotalCommander

It's unclear to me if I'm looking for the same thing as OP. Let's say a file is called "✨@this is an [example] (1)". Can I make jdownloader remove the "✨@this is an [example]"–part so that it's called "(1)" via a rule?

@eliass123: You can either use Packagizer rules to rename such files, see https://support.jdownloader.org/de/k...the-packagizer
or make use of Settings->Advanced Settings->GeneralSettings.filenamereplacemap and specify a pattern/regex to replace unwanted parts
