Default [KEIN JD Problem] Mega.nz - broken downloads

Hi,

Sometimes mega downloads seem OK (no error and 100%), but the downloaded files are broken, also, there's an extra file next to the downloaded file, for example:
- whatever.mkv [4.4 gb]
- whatever.mkv.part [3.96 gb]

The mkv file can not be opened.
The part file have a proper header and opens, but it's incomplete.

It happened multiple times, the last was just right after the latest update.

Can somebody take a look at it, please?

Thanks in advance,
M

Hi,

Yes, I'm using a multihoster.
But the issue is inconsistent, it's just happens once in a while (but annoying enough to report it).

I'll create and post a log later.

Cheers,
M

What happens when you download the same MEGA.nz file manually via browser over linksnappy?

Wrell then please contact the linksnappy.com support regarding all of the issues mentioned in this thread.
None of these issues are caused by JD!

Yep, it looks like it's all on linksnappy.
Disabled it and the file downloaded just fine.

M

You can also add an account usage rule and disable linksnappy for MEGA so you can leave your linksnappy account enabled in JD.
Please also contact the linksnappy.com support and tell them about these issues!

Hi,

I switched to AllDebrid and it's happening again :-/
Seemingly OK file (100&, no error), but the file damaged, and there's a *.part file next to it.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance,
M

Yeah saure but is that file complete and usable?
Was it a .zip file or some other kind or a video file?

@Maelcum: we need logs. When you download in browser, it's single chunk/connection but in JDownloader most likely you download with multiple connections and then server side issues show up

Browser uses a single connection and depending on your configuration, JDownloader uses multiple connections. And multiple connections can easily cause server side issue to cause broken downloads. Pspzocker explained what we need , so we can forward the infos to alldebrid and they can check/fix it
