Same thing here, FS premium user, JD just hangs on "connecting" and then there will be disconnect errors and maybe a bit of downloading if I'm lucky. I don't know if this is helpful but it won't even let me right click on the items in the queue and "copy url" (its greyed out), but they came from a DLC so that might be why...?

@ramiy yes their downloader fails also, which would indicate its hoster issue and not jdownloader.

@everyone
You can still download in your browser if you want to go to that effort

Same here, the Acc works in the Browser (but who wants to use a Browser for downloads haha), therefore the problem is caused by the jDownloader. It shows me "ServerError, will retry later" as status for the Account, but there is no Hoster Problem. Please fix this.

wrong.... Depends on the method of download. We use many different methods at times to start downloads, like APIs are used over there public website. This saves us not having to update plugins each time a website changes html... Plugins are remain working longer.

I've checked fileserve source code, it uses their api for premium downloads.. Id say their API is BROKEN!

I didn´t change anything before this annoying thing started, so it hast to be a FS issue.

If u guys are also using a FS download manager and it also fails...well i guess that says everything about it.

Anyway i feel better knowing the JD guys are looking into it, just in case.

Apparently it´s working again.

My account is Premium again, not the fastest speed though and still some issues to properly connect to FS, i guess it will take some more time for things to settle down.

@rich
I'm sure they would just say you could have downloaded from their website.

No doubt hosters have written themselves escape clause within the Terms Of Service that allows some down time, without any reimbursement.

Yeah but I can't let it download one after the other like with jdownloader, the way of doing it through the site is rubbish, I might as well have not payed for the account if that is the solution!
Time to go with another site then.

Keep us up to date my friend, the problem is back again.

I sent FS helpdesk an email, no answer yet, hopefully they are surrounded by thousands of them:):)

I guess they are working on it, they better be.x)

This is not the ideal solution I know but at least it works.

Start the download in your browser, I use Chrome.

Go to the download page -> right click and say copy link

Paste link in JD and then it will download

Well yes it was working for a while earlier today but since then its back to being like it was yesterday. No downloads from FS is possible at the moment it seems. I can download fine uisng browser, so I have to assume JD is having problems due to changes in FS api. Hopefully a solution can be arrived at soon.

I'm from Germany and the same problem still exists. "Connecting..." for ages and then it changes to "Disconnected?" while I can dl via Firefox and from other hosters in JD without problems....

Exactly same problem here, sometime in the morning it was fine, i mean JD showed my premium account, now it´s back to Server Error, will retry later.

But even when it showed premium i could barely download from FS.

It´s really annoying, u pay for a premium account, u have JD to get the best out of it, and it doesn´t work.

By the way, i just tryied with Cryptload a few FS links and it works perfectly:huh::huh:

I hope the JD guys find a solution.

Edit . Cryptload not working either :-(

Ok, the problem seems located and handled .... maybe :p
But, unfortunatly, as I have only a FileServe account, it means jDL (my favorite) has to be replaced because no use anymore .... well this sucks. My dowload speed is reduced from 3.3MB to 117KB, and that's not standable.
I hope for jDL lovers, like me, it take no time to repair this problem. In the mean time, I'll use FDM instead of jDL.

note : i've waited 4 days for jDL to get on his feets but no more ^^
note2 : as info, 'FDM' and 'Get Go' managers don't work neither with FileServe (actually it's even worst) :'(

Default Same problem since yesterday

I have the same problem, "Server error, will retry later" with a premium account. Used to work until a couple days before.

A fix would be much appreciated.

(Thank you for the great program jdownloader btw! Thanks very much).

Fileserve is having issues again wait for them to fix the problem! Their API is failing this is not a jdownloader issue directly. Same problem as yesterday if you read my responses #1194

Try downloading in your browsers this will be your own work around, that assumes that their problems haven't affected that also....

Hello.
I have a problem with the download from fileserve using my premium account. I already checked my account and the login information is correct, it wasn't hacked and from the browser I can download perfectly fine. But JD says "Disconnected???" and shows a countdown. Also in the account details for fileserve says "ServerError, will retry later" but the login information I typed is correct.
I already tried delete the account and typed it and restart JD but it doesn't work. A few days ago I could download from there without problems.

I have the lastest version of JD and Windows 7 x64 SP1.

Could anybody please fix this??

Thanks in advance.
