Hi,

Is it possible to limit the number of attempts when link generates "file temporarily unavailable"? Because now, the Jdownloader loops endlessly every 5 minutes and does not turn the PC off because of that. I would prefer if it tried a few times every hour (or so - not 5 minutes) and then stopped trying and turned PC off (I have usually more links that are long finished and I prefer the Jdownloader not to carry on with the "unavailable" one but just shut itself down).

If you want, I can add a setting for you which enables you to customize the behavior on this error.

Did you already think about contacting the webshare.cz support to let them fix this serverside issue?

Yes, please. Custom setting would be welcome. Something like: attemp 10 times once per 20 minutes etc.

They tend to have these issues quite a lot. Sometimes the links start working sometimes not. I contacted them once and they deleted the file saying it was broken. Only they know what happens under the hood.

The change will take time until we can release our next set of CORE-updates for which I'm unable to provide any ETA.
In the meantime I recommend using an EventScripter script which will ework more basic e.g. stop downloads if download more is active && nothing has been downloaded for X time.

Thank you. There is no waiting time setting (it retries after 5 minutes) but it is sufficient. I set it to 40 times that should quit trying after some 3+ hours.

Exactly - you can simply set it to your desired number of retries which will result in a specific max retry time.

Addendum:
Keep this in mind:
Resetting a single link via Rightclick -> Reset will clear the number of saved retries so the internal counter will start from 0.
