Exclamation FBoom / fileboom.me captchas

For some strange reason, FBoom asks for 6 captchas when on JDownloader.

But you can send anything on the first five captchas and only send the correct captcha on the last one.

Maybe developers could incorporate that behavior on the plugin?

Thank you.

6 captchas?
When does this happen?

It happens now every time it reaches the daily max files allowed.

I think I found out what the problem is.

You have several files queued for download.

You need to solve captcha to find out that you've reached max files per hour limit.

Jdownloader does that for EACH of the FILES queued, solving each time a different captcha.

When you only need to do that once, since when your reach FBoom limit for one particular file, you reach the limit for ANY file.

This problem is common for any fileserver that needs a captcha to be solved before replying you've reached your daily/hour limit.

No sorry, I checked again and it is in fact asking for multiple captchas for the SAME file once it reaches the daily limit. Also on the web there's a Google reCaptcha that never shows pops up on JD.

I can confirm very weird behavior on my server with myjdownloader.

A 300mb file broke off several times, stopped downloading after 170mb, after 200mb, after 220mb and asked for a new captcha. The server is running stable and even if the connection was interrupted, it should resume without asking for another captcha, but it does.

I don't think the latest issue is down to Jdownloader or solvable by them.

I'm seeing the same behaviour with K2S as well, so I think there's something wrong on their end.

If you use a browser to download it fails, restarting it continues from where it left off with no requirement to complete a catchpa.

Again:
Which filehost are you downloading from?
If it is keep2share/fboom/tezfiles, please read:

It's easy to test:

1. Use a free account, or no account, and add two fboom files.
2. Download the first one, one captcha is required.
3. JDownloader moves to second one and 6 or 7 captchas are requested, just to reach the "download limit has been reached" status.
4. JDownloader will wait and retry and either one captcha is required or 6 or 7 if download limit is still on.

I still don't understand the problem:
JD is requesting captchas and you can't solve them?
JD is displaying a limit message while no limit is reached?

JD requires 6 or 7 captchas, when only one is needed.
It does this when a FBoom user reached max files per hour limit.
After the 7 captchas are solved, (by me or using a captcha solver service) JD displays "max files per hour limit reached".

I tested and stopped JD for two hours, and then restarted it. Worked as expected, required one captcha and started the download. Then, it goes for the next file, and again starts asking for the 6 captchas and after solving the 6 captchas, it goes to "max limit reached" and stops. After 20 minutes, it retries, and again the 6 captchas are required, just to get to the "max limit reached" state again.

After one hour, only one captcha is required, meaning we're out out of the "max limit reached" and the download starts.

I can't be more clear than this. Thank you.

Now I understand what you mean but I'm unable to reproduce the problem.

This is very easy to fix: just wait 5 minutes before a FBoom retry, if immediately after a finished download.

So a delay of 5 minutes between every fboom download attempt in free mode would help?

...though I'm still unable to reproduce this issue.

It would. I tried setting GeneralSettings' "Proxy Host Ban Timeout" and "Account Temporarily Disabled Default Timeout" to 9000000 but didn't work. I thinks there's no "Delay to next download" key on the advanced setting.

Yap there is no such option.

As long as I'm not able to confirm your theory though I'm not planning to add such a change or setting.
