Default Make linkgrabber persistent

How to make the linkgrabber window persistent across sessions? For whatever reason if I close jdownloader and reopen it, the linkgrabber window becomes empty. Thank you.

The linkgrabber is only there to collect the links (temporary).
After collecting them you should move them to the download-tab, they you'll have them in there after restarting JD

IMHO this is not very good design. If they were truly temporary they would be removed when the clipboard changes. If they are permanent in a session, they should be permanent across sessions. Currently they are some weird intermediate kind of temporary. Also, it is unclear that this is the behaviour and it is certainly unexpected.

It was always like it is now.
In the past our linkgrabber was a little window which would also disappear with closing JD, links were NEVER saved in the linkgrabber.

There is a difference between the old and the current version of the linkgrabber which makes khanc's statements totally understandable. See thread mentioned in next paragraph.

There have been lots of discussions about this usability design error which has cost many people hours of links grabbing. One of them is "Retrieve lost recent linkgrabber".

@khanc

I completely agree with you. You seem to understand the very complex discipline of software design.
