Default JD2 does not capture links containing .azw3

I use function: ADD AND DEEPANALYZE LINKS FROM YOUR CLIPBOARD to import link:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

but nothing happens.

When I try to replace the file extension "AZW3" with "3", ironically, JD2 capture the new link.

I don't understand why JD2 does not capture links containing "AZW3" !

Please help!

Because that file extension is not known to Generic HTTP Plugin.
Generic plugin processes list of known file extensions and azw3 isn't included
You can either
Copy/Paste those url to JDownloader to make it auto learn
or
prepend directh t t p:// *remove spaces* in front of url
or
append ?.jdeatme at the end of the url

Is it possible to make JD2 recognize all of file extensions (not just those prescribed in HTTP plugin)?

Describe *all of the file extensions*
There is no such thing as all
We include known, widely used file extensions. I will include azw3 with next update

Please also include .azw and .pdb too (they are now not supported by HTTP plugin)!

I can not figure out why simple download manager like IDM can recognize links with ANY extension, but JD2 depend on HTTP plugin.

JDownloader monitors the clipboard. In IDM you have to add the links yourself while JDownloader monitors clipboard. You don't want a tool to auto request every URL that you copy to your clipboard, do you?

You can copy/paste the URL and JDownloader will process it. You can use AddLinks dialog and JDownloader will process it. You can create Linkcrawler Rules and teach JDownloader those file extensions.

Yes, I tried all methods to import links containing .azw3, but nothing changes!

You can try link **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** in your JD2 to see what I saw

I mean there is no way that JD2 with default setting can recognize link with .azw3
