I really like jDownloader, it makes my life so much easier.

So, how can I help to make it better?

My skills are:
- Java programmer (professionally doing so since 2001)
- Able to translate German <-> English (Yes, both directions, I'm a native german speaker)
- Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol, as well as its advanced applications, e.g. AJAX.
- Good knowledge of Javascript and its advanced DEP (Data Exchange Protocol, e.g. JSON)
- Very good knowledge of XHTML
- Lead programmer of the XHTML-based part of the online banking system of PostFinance (Swiss financial institution) which just got certified with the AA+ Award for being Accessible Friendly.

I am also familiar with Subversion, CVS and ClearCase. And the IDEs I have worked with, like Eclipse, Netbeans and jDeveloper are my daily tools.

So I would really like to contribute on the project of jDownloader.

in mean time you can setup your favorite ide (many of us use eclipse) and load the jd sourcecode into it
