Default resuming downloads automatically when reconnect

i have been disappointed with THE AUTO RECONNECT
so i downloaded an application that checks the DIAL UP connection and reconnects it whenever it is disconnected ...
but the download process seems to STOP and says
we have not permission to write on your hard disk:outch::outch::outch::outch:
what should i do?
thanks

jd must do the reconnect, not another tool!
if you use an external tool to reconnect pls setup jd to start it!
because if must be controlled when a reconnect happens!

setup liveheader reconnect (eg with recorder) or external (eg to use a batchfile or tool)

Edit by Jiaz: the "not permission to write on your hard disk" comes from broken internet connection, when a connection suddenly dies
