Why Jdownloader doesnt work with split tunneling?
I use Windscribe Split tunneling and then Inclusive and select the Jdownloader exe file.. However it simply connects with my real ip address.. (I am using the stealth protocol because its the only one that works over the firewall)
:outch: I also tried adding a new "Direct Gateway" connection (in settings), however im not sure im doing it the correct way.. Do I need to enter the IP address of the VPN connection manually everytime I change it??!! Because i tried simply adding the name of the network interface but it doesnt work.. The only way I can get Jdownloader to work with Windscribe is to disable split tunneling... I am using Windows 11 with latest Jdownloader PLS HELP...:confused: Last edited by hosa; 24.08.2024 at 21:16. |

" Code:
Solution Enter the following line of code in the .vmoptions file: -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true I will try doing what is instructed in this troubleshoot page and i will update this thread. Also pardon me asking, Why doesnt it just work out of the box, without the need for the user to apply this tweak? |
