Default My.Jdownloader Browser extension menu doesn't appear any idea why?

Hi!

It seems like the menu of the addon is broken. With only the arrow thing appearing. I'm on FF56. Does anyone have ideas why this happens?

(I also noticed this with another WE addon: Screengrab!)

The Icon appears when you are not logged in. Did you enter your MyJDownloader logins?

But what's supposed to be on the doorhanger, and why doesn't it appear?
I don't MyJDownloader account, whatever it is. I only installed the extension because of some captchas failing otherwise, and I was suggested to do so.

The icon indicates that you have not logged in into MyJDownloader. Yes, not required for the RecaptchaV2 handling. When you click on Icon you should see the login screen.
You can hide the icon via Firefox Menu customization, if you don't need MyJDownloader service

Okay, thanks.
Though I also wanted to figure out why doorhangers/menus for webextensions fail to appear, just in case one time I need them.

So does the login screen show up when you click on the extension or not?

Here's an animation also:

Tried to remove/install again the extension?
When it happens with other extensions as well, maybe a bug in Firefox or some extension that messes with other extensions?

I only installed it recently and it was always like this.

BTW, I just tried installing the extension in a brand new profile of FF55.0.2 (x64) and it appears the same way.

Does the other extension also fail?
Checked firewall/av? cause they can *break* extensions

As far as I can tell the extension works otherwise. Didn't get the warning to install it with any captchas. Also the tabs now close after doing the captcha.

Anyway I installed two other WE extensions Screengrab! and Ublock Origin. Neither of their menus appear when clicking their button. So I guess firefox is bugged.
But it's really annoying because this effectively brakes many WE extensions.

I guess it is somehow connected to your setup because if it would be generic issue, more ppl would be affected.
Tried to remove/uninstall and setup Firefox completely from scratch?

I don't think it'd help. I tried loading the same new profile with the Lawlietfox custom build, it worked.
Yet it's broken on my main profile which I use with Lawlietfox... So at this point I can't deduce anything. And I have no ideas what to try.
