well fileserve know about the problem but if you do parallel download as a free user as damned wrote the calculation is wrong... it means you share the speed with all 4 of the download if you simultaneous it 4/150 in the case of damned only about 50kb/s per file...remember its limited speed not premium...and if its premium the speed may well also be shared so its better to download one at a time to get maximum speed at all times.

If that would be true, you'll still avoid some waiting time between downloads.

Please allow me to summarize something that Jiaz (one of the Managers) wrote months ago:
We will not write special code to support parallel downloading for a unique hoster. Please do not expect JDownloader to change the FileServe plugin that supports multiple free downloads, starting every 12-14 minutes. That is a lot of extra code, especially if your total download speed is the same as for a single download. At least there is a test anti-reCaptcha plugin (see the News page). |

@bamfan5520
Where is your log ??? @drbits Agree. Even if many users do not understand the structure of the plugins they have to understand that we have a structure here for the plugins. Even with the structure we can support different hosters but all hosters work kinda like the same but SOME are different and we cannot change our whole pluginsystem just to improve those plugins so they work 100% the way, some users want them to work. --- If fileserve shows a big waittime like this 10 minute waittime JDownloader will show the user a so called "reconnect-waittime" (those waittime will mark the links of the specified hoster, in this case fileserve, YELLOW). When such a reconnect-waittime is active JD isn't even in the plugin-code anymore because the waittime stops it. Normal waittime like the X minute waittime after or before a captcha (or just the waittime without captcha) don't change the color of the links which (i try to explain it so everyone understands it) means that JD is still in the plugin code, waiting the waittime and after that it continues with the next step in the code. If you now want JD to ask you for the captcha and then wait this 10 minute waittime NOT as a reconnect-waittime we have to re-code big parts of the plugin and so on... Also reconnect-waittimes are called "reconnect-waittimes" because reconnecting will remove them. If we ask the users for the captcha instead of showing a reconnect waittime, other users (the ones who can reconnect) will hate us for that because they have to wait this unneeded waittime... I hope some parts of this post were understandable^^ GreeZ pspzockerscene

I'm happily downloading from FS.
What about some example links and a complete and detailed log? @psp I understand from your largest message thus far that it's a complex matter. [picture]face palms[/picture] ![]() |

I have some problems with fileserve...
Yesterday I bought a premium account, and files are not downloaded properly.... Just take a look at the shoot: ![]() Just look at that... All fileserve files are marked as Downloading or Socket timeout... In both cases files are not being downloaded: * Downloading files keep "downloading" for a lot of time and never change their status * Some files start downloading and when they reach some little mb downloaded they crash (socket timeout). If i force the download then the files become the other kind of files, they keep "downloading" forever. I tried reseting JDownloader, the PC, disabling the antivirus... but it doesn't fix that... I hope I have been clear and you can understand this. Thanks for this great software :D |

Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the port 80/html/web scanner in your virus software.
Also reduce the Max.Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. If this doesn't solve your issue, what about some example links and a complete and detailed log? |

Read the Hoster Plugins Rules.
If you cannot generate a log the normal way, use the instructions in General Discussion -> Self Help Index -> Posting an Emergency Log. Version 6 is not a Java version, it is more a category. Enter "Java -version" into the command line to get the actual version information. Since this is Fileserve, is this a Free download or Premium? Do you have the (experimental) anti-reCaptcha patch installed? What version of the FileServe plugin are you running? Are you running a software Firewall or antivirus? If you are, what have you done to avoid allowing them to interfere with JD? If you are not running an antivirus that checks each file when you open it, run an antivirus scan on your computer (see General Discussion -> Self Help Index -> Choosing and Installing Security Software). Never use terms like "Latest" when reporting version information. Actually list the date and time you last checked for updates. |

If you cannot generate a log the normal way, use the instructions in General Discussion -> Self Help Index -> Posting an Emergency Log. Manage to generate the log file after further trying [See Attachment] Version 6 is not a Java version, it is more a category. Enter "Java -version" into the command line to get the actual version information.Java Version 1.6.0_13 Since this is Fileserve, is this a Free download or Premium? Do you have the (experimental) anti-reCaptcha patch installed?Free download. Don't have the anti-reCaptcha installed (Should I ?) since I'm using the portable version. However, 3 link works (out of the 30). The rest 27 links don't work so not related to the anti-reCaptcha right ? What version of the FileServe plugin are you running? Fileserve version = 12884 Are you running a software Firewall or antivirus? If you are, what have you done to avoid allowing them to interfere with JD? If you are not running an antivirus that checks each file when you open it, run an antivirus scan on your computer (see General Discussion -> Self Help Index -> Choosing and Installing Security Software). Well, I've successfull downloaded from 3 links out of the 30 (same file hosted on fileserve) and previously have also downloaded from fileserve without any problem and I haven't tweaked any of my firewall or antivirus settings in like ages. Never use terms like "Latest" when reporting version information. Actually list the date and time you last checked for updates.Ok....Just updated today, a few minutes ago before making the 1st post. |
