Unfortunately, it seems that any kind of access to the repository and the issue tracker requires a username and password, and it's not clear how to get it. The IDE setup page doesn't seem to make a reference for this for read access and only says near the bottom that for write access you should send an email to create an account. I'm assuming this is what's also required for read access. While my familiarity with Java is quite limited and with the Youtube API is essentially zero, perhaps I will to try to set this up to see if I can do something about it. |

I see you are discussing audio tracks... I ran into a problem today. I needed to download the game trailers, and when I downloaded them through JD - the characters spoke German, that's in one trailer, and Arabic (I think) in the other. I ended up having to use an online downloader, and with it everything was already in English.

I'm attempting to download youtube videos, but getting an error. When I start the dl, it lists "converting/dumping" for a moment, some videos even start downloading for a second, before changing to "An Error occurred! (youtube.com), Try restarting this link (plugin outdated?)
I doubled checked that Jdownloader 2 is up to date. Other sites download video without issue. Checked that I'm logged into youtube, videos are not age restricted or region locked. Running on Linux Mint. No VPN or extra software. Checked that I have all multimedia codecs in Linux. I also tried changing the downloaded file format, no change. Thank you all kindly. log- 18.06.23 03.18.03 <--> 18.06.23 03.23.20 jdlog://7495311370661/ Last edited by fireant; 19.06.2023 at 00:29. |

Read-access does not need credentials. Looks like you'Ve tried to open SVN links in your browser. Using the SVN protocol in Eclise, it will work just fine and you can obtain the source code.

Is linkgraber working with youtube? I put some links and linkgrabber kepts looking but nothing is listed.
In the account manager youtube says "unknown error" and the bar says "temp dissabled 59:59" My first guest is that the plugin is outdated, but i need some confirmation. Thanks. Update: Before some minutes linkgrabber shows the links but when i tried to download, a mesage appears that says that FFmpeg can't by find and must be installed" I need some advise because i installed FFmepg many time ago. Thanks Last edited by xvertigo; 20.06.2023 at 00:28. |

Your log shows that you are unable to connect to youtube due to a timeout.
Please do thbe following: 1. Go to ipv6-test.com and post a screenshot of your results. 2. Go to Settings -> Advanced Settings -> InternetConnectionSettings.preferredipversion -> Set this to IPV4_IPV6 -> Restart JD -> Try again

Leave it for now.
Looks like for some reason JD decided to use IPV6 although it is not working for you. Thanks for your feedback.

We rarely update the FFmpeg version we provide with JD but you can use any "supported" FFmpeg version at any time.
Reference: https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...roubleshooting If FFmpeg gets installed via JD, JD shouldn't ask again for the FFmpeg installation.

I'm sorry but I don't understand your question.
Are you asking for the reason why JD needs FFmpeg for YT- and some other streaming downloads? See this article: https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...roubleshooting

No, sorry, i am asking why Jdownloader suddenlly ask to install FFmpeg on machines that already have installed for a long time. In the threee machines until yesterday youtube videos downloaded normally (because the three have installed FFmepg) and now in all of them Jdownloader asks to install again that extension. If there is not an update then is weird the request.

Small announcement regarding the "100 items channel/playlist
Because I still don't see anyone fixing this in the near future/ever, I've now changed the wording of the "process playlist dialog". I do not want anyone accusing us of doing this silently which is why I'm going to post it here. Screenshot: ![]() - Yes it is still a bug and not any kind of limit intentionally introduced by us - Yes we did not forget about it - No, you can't expect a fix for this any time soon - use the workarounds you can find in this thread | Basically use other tools to collect all single-video links of a playlist/channel and then add them to JDownloader Ticket to this issue: My personal attempt to get all items of a playlist would be this one: 1. Get the browser addon "LinkGopher". 2. Open the playlist in browser and scroll all the way down so all items of the playlist are visible. 3. Obtain all video URLs. 4. In JD YT plugin settings go to "If link contains Video & Playlist Information" -> Set this to "Process video only". 5. Add all links to JD. --> Basically as described here.

@fireant
Your issue is happening because of a buggy FFmpeg version installed on your Linux mint. Get an FFmpeg from ffmpeg.org and set the path to it in JD, see also the following article: https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...roubleshooting
