Hi,

When downloading from Instagram, and pictures have non-English characters, it appear as squares.
Is there a way to change the language, so non-English characters will recognize too?

I will add 2 examples that I took out from the source code of Instagram and that became useless squares in JDownloader:
1. Hebrew text + icon, from Instagram source code: "\ud83e\udd18\ud83c\udffb\u05e9\u05d1\u05d5\u05e2 \u05d8\u05d5\u05d1"
it could be converted using **External links are only visible to Support Staff**this page , you can see under "Characters" or under "HTML/XML" the Hebrew text and the icon.
2. icon, from source code: "\ud83c\udccf" . could be converted same way.

is it a fix that have to change in Instagram plugin or in JDownloader?

there is no need todo any conversion, its still unicode. All you just need to do is select a unicode friendly font. I personally use 'Dialog', just be aware fonts are not created equal.
settings > advanced settings > use the filter 'font'
